1. Data controller

The controller of personal data collected through Crew is the operator of the service at crew.piana.me. For privacy requests, contact us through the channels listed on the site.

2. Data we process

When you use Crew we may process:

• Google account data — if you sign in with Google: name, email address, account ID, and profile photo, as provided by Google under the permissions you grant.
• Content you publish — text, images, and other information you add to the feed, groups, or profile.
• Technical data — session cookies, IP address, browser type, and access logs needed to run and secure the service.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Authentication and service delivery — to let you access and use the community (performance of a contract / pre-contractual steps).
• Security and abuse prevention — to protect users and infrastructure (legitimate interest).
• Legal obligations — where required by applicable law.

We do not use your data for third-party advertising and we do not sell personal data.

4. Google sign-in

Authentication uses Google OAuth. Crew receives only the profile information needed for your account. Google’s own processing is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke app access in your Google Account settings.

5. Cookies and session

We use technical (http-only) cookies to keep you signed in and to protect the OAuth flow. These cookies are required for the service and are not used for advertising profiling.

6. Retention

Session data lasts until the session expires or you sign out. Published content remains available until the account or content is removed, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and diagnostics.

7. Recipients and transfers

Data may be processed on the operator’s infrastructure and, for authentication, by Google as an independent provider. Any transfers outside the EEA follow applicable safeguards (for example standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions).

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR (EU) 2016/679 you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Children

Crew is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated version where permitted by law.
